Job summary

Prime Appointments Ltd is seeking a Manufacturing Team Lead for a busy food manufacturing site in Stansted. The role is on a fixed-term contract with a 4 on/4 off shift pattern, 7am to 7pm, and a salary of £38,000 per year.

You will lead and support the production team, ensuring food safety, quality and performance targets are met while maintaining a positive team environment. The position offers development toward a future Shift Manager role.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience within the FMCG food manufacturing industry.
• Good knowledge of food manufacturing processes, food safety and Health & Safety requirements.
• Experience supporting, motivating or leading a team within a production environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to interpret production data and use it to improve performance.
• Proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to work under pressure.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn and ability to build effective working relationships.

Responsibilities

• Cover the Shift Manager's responsibilities during periods of absence.
• Work collaboratively with other departments to maintain smooth production operations.

Hours: 7am - 7pm, 4 on / 4 off shift pattern

We are recruiting for a Manufacturing Team Lead to join a busy food manufacturing environment on a fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in food manufacturing who enjoys leading a team and is looking to develop their skills towards a future Shift Manager position.

You will play a key role in supporting the production team, maintaining high standards of food safety and quality, and ensuring production targets are achieved safely and efficiently.
