Job summary

GE Vernova in Stafford seeks a Manufacturing Support Team Member to assist with operation and maintenance of production equipment in a high-technology setting. You will support processes, troubleshoot faults, and help maintain production continuity while adhering to Lean principles.

You will work with manufacturing, engineering and quality teams to meet targets and uphold safety and quality standards. Full training is provided for development in the role.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining safe working practices in manufacturing.
• Understanding of production processes and equipment support.
• Lean manufacturing knowledge and data-driven improvement familiarity.
• Strong communication and ability to train colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Support operation and maintenance of manufacturing equipment and production areas.
• Provide mechanical and operational support to equipment and processes.
• Act as first line of response for equipment issues and fault finding.
• Create and update standard work instructions and documentation.
• Maintain spare parts, tooling and consumables to minimise downtime.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, quality and maintenance teams.
