Job summary

Tricel Weston is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to lead a production team on site in Weston-super-Mare, ensuring products are made efficiently with strict adherence to health and safety, quality standards and the production schedule.

You will plan labour, coordinate start-ups and changeovers, monitor KPI performance and drive continuous improvement, while fostering a collaborative, safe working environment and timely reporting to management.

Qualifications

• Experience in Manufacturing/Production Supervisory role.
• Lean manufacturing principles and tools knowledge.
• Proficient with MS Office and data interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of production and quality targets to ensure smooth operations.
• Line management including labour planning, meetings, and performance reviews.
• Maintain safe working environment and ensure PPE and housekeeping standards.
• Record and report KPI performance and drive improvements in OEE.
• Coordinate start-ups, shutdowns and changeovers; manage premises when needed.
• Ensure equipment and tooling are maintained and faults reported.
• Contribute to Work Instructions and cross-functional projects; support continuous improvement.
