Manufacturing Shift Manager – Elland, Halifax – Earn £28,000 to £31,500 per annum – Full Time - Apply Today!

Nexus People are looking for 2 Shift Managers in Elland to work with our client, who are the most technologically advanced site anywhere in the world for processing flat panel displays and e-waste plastics.

To be considered for this role, you must have previous experience managing a team of production operatives in a manufacturing environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Opening and closing the site, including daily inspections and general maintenance of the site & equipment
• Managing the Production Team: communicating work plans, managing shift patterns, performance measurement, training and coaching, disciplinary actions
• Monitoring compliance, warehouse discipline, cleanliness, and Health & Safety standards
• Ensuring permit requirements are met and handling vehicle loading/unloading in line with traffic management plans
• Preparing the site for material deliveries

This role may require other duties, so flexibility and previous experience in a similar environment are beneficial.

Working Hours:

Full-time hours, Monday to Friday, on either the late shift (14:00 - 22:30) or nights (22:00 - 06:00).

• Preferred (but not essential): WAMITAB COTC L4 in Hazardous Waste Treatment/Transfer

You must be a UK resident and able to travel to and from the site for your shift. We cannot assist with VISA applications or relocation.
