Job summary

Carlsberg Britvic is seeking a Shift Team Leader at our Leeds facility to drive safe, compliant and efficient manufacturing operations. You will lead a production team of 10–15 people, champion quality and LM KPI delivery, and partner with engineering and quality teams to meet demand.

The role requires 12-hour shift coverage (4-week pattern) and a strong track record of developing teams in fast-paced environments. Competitive benefits accompany a permanent position in Leeds.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety, Quality and Operational Excellence.
• Strong problem-solving skills in a fast-paced production setting.
• Experience in performance management including setting objectives and appraisals.
• Ability to work a 12-hour, 24/6 annualised shift pattern.
• Commitment to continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop a production team of approximately 10–15 employees.
• Demonstrate strong safety leadership, ensuring Health, Safety, Environmental and PPE standards are consistently met.
• Ensure Quality and GMP standards are maintained, promoting a Right First Time approach.
• Plan and coordinate resources to deliver the production plan and achieve KPI targets (OEE, yield, waste).
• Identify and resolve operational issues, promoting a See it, own it, solve it approach and supporting Continuous Improvement.
• Manage team performance, attendance, training and development, including 1:1s and clear objectives.
• Work closely with Engineering, Quality and other support teams to resolve issues and improve performance.
• Identify opportunities to reduce waste, manage costs and improve operational efficiency.
