Job Description:

My client is a global defence and aerospace leader, and due to new business contacts, they seek a Maintenance Technician to join their team on an initial 12-month contract.

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for:

1. Performing a range of routine, reactive, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance tasks.
2. Installing, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining mechanically biased machines.
3. Performing alignment and geometry checks.
4. Utilising hand tools and test equipment to meet customer requirements.
5. Coordinating workload and mechanical activities with customers.
6. Working with site Manufacturing Engineers to understand and restore equipment.
7. Adhering to control standards and procedures.

Experience and skills required for a Maintenance Technician:

1. Must have completed an advanced modern engineering apprenticeship and an NVQ/SVQ/City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent qualification.
2. Good understanding of maintenance operations and fault finding.
3. Basic IT literacy and the ability to work with engineering drawings.
