Job summary

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in relevant time served apprenticeship.
• Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic pneumatics principles and operation.
• Basic IT literacy.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine, reactive, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance tasks across a broad range of manufacturing assets and production equipment to ensure safe, available and capable equipment.
• Utilise precision diagnostic instruments during maintenance.
• Read and interpret machinery drawings, circuit/logic diagrams & schematics, maintenance manuals, and parts catalogues to enable maintenance and diagnostics.
• Identify and recommend improvements to production equipment and maintenance procedures; research and implement improvements.
• Coordinate preventive and planned corrective maintenance activities with Production Staff and interface with Production Leaders.
