Job summary

CareerMakers Recruitment in Accrington is recruiting an experienced Sales Administrator to support the busy commercial team. This varied role blends sales administration with account management, acting as the main contact for customers from enquiry to delivery and building long-term relationships.

You will ensure compliance with UK regulations, coordinate between sales, purchasing, production and external bodies, manage quotations, orders, stock, and reporting, and grow with the SME manufacturer.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales administration or internal sales within manufacturing.
• Proactive, detail oriented with strong organisation.
• Excellent IT skills including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with CRM/ERP systems (SAP or Salesforce desirable).

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of customer accounts as the main point of contact.
• Process sales orders accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare and follow up on quotations.
• Coordinate with production, logistics and procurement to ensure delivery.
• Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues promptly.
• Maintain records on CRM/ERP systems.
• Support external sales managers with updates and reporting.
• Monitor stock levels and delivery schedules.
