Qualifications

• Experience in sales administration, order processing or similar administrative role.
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Good IT skills, including confidence using Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication skills and a professional telephone manner.
• Customer-focused approach with ability to handle enquiries efficiently.
• Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines in a busy environment.
• Proactive attitude with good problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.
• Experience in manufacturing or production environment is advantageous, with willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Process customer sales orders and update internal systems accurately.
• Assist with entering orders using the product configuration system.
• Prepare production paperwork, labels and order packs.
• Check orders against quotations and previous orders for accuracy.
• Answer incoming calls and respond to customer enquiries by phone and email.
• Liaise with production teams regarding lead times and order progress.
• Keep customers informed of production updates and delivery expectations.
• Support the preparation of quotations, tenders and business reports.
• Provide general administrative support to the wider team.
• Maintain a tidy, professional working environment and follow procedures.
