Job summary

Workchain is recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established manufacturing business, for a Quality & Training Manager. This role focuses on overseeing quality systems, staff training, and continuous improvement across workshop and dispatch operations to ensure high standards and customer satisfaction.

You will lead training delivery, develop SOPs, manage NCRs and calibration schedules, and collaborate with Production, Quality, and SHEQ teams to drive improvements and employee development.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing/engineering/production environment.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems and QA principles.
• Experience delivering training and developing employee competencies.
• Ability to investigate quality concerns and implement corrective actions.
• Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and record-keeping abilities.
• Ability to build strong working relationships across multiple departments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee quality systems, employee training and continuous improvement across workshop and dispatch operations.
• Lead training delivery, develop SOPs and maintain training records.
• Investigate quality issues and drive corrective actions; manage NCRs and calibration schedules.
• Produce quality reports and performance metrics for management review.
• Mentor quality personnel to support development and continuous improvement.
