Job summary

Polypipe Building Products is seeking a focused production operative to ensure smooth manufacturing operations, uphold the highest quality, and minimise waste and downtime on the machines. The role involves defect checking, maintaining safe equipment, and neat, properly identified packaging of products.

You will work to health and safety standards, keep a clean workstation, and contribute to a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement within the Genuit Group.

Qualifications

• Check production for defects and ensure quality standards.
• Comply with health & safety requirements.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness and organisation.
• Be punctual and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all production is checked for defects and meets the required quality standards
• Ensure all machines are in a safe condition to run, and report any issues immediately
• All products should be packed neatly and be free from flash or any forms of debris
• Products need to have the correct identification
• Work in accordance with all SSW's and maintain a clean and tidy work environment
