Genuit Group plc is seeking a production operative to ensure smooth operation of manufacturing processes and maintain high quality while minimizing waste. The role focuses on efficient machine operation, accurate quality checks, and safe working practices on site at Polypipe Building Products.

You will work within a rotating 3-shift pattern (Days/ Afters/ Nights) and contribute to meeting production targets.

Qualificações

• Experience operating Injection moulding machinery would be an advantage, however full training is provided.
• Working to tight deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Training in minor fault finding and rectification.
• Good numerical and literacy skills.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure all machines are running efficiently to maximise the output.
• Ensure the manufactured product meets the required quality standard.
• Ensure all machines are in a safe condition to run and are locked off if not and immediately reported to supervision.
• Check all products for defects.
• Ensure all products are correctly assembled.
• Ensure all product is correctly packaged, labelled, booked out and stored safely in the designated storage areas.
• Separate all waste products into the designated containers for recycling.
• Moving pallets with a pump truck into designated areas ready for loading.
• Ensure no contaminants enter the granulators (rubber, wood, steel)
• Achievement of production targets.
• Complete daily production sheets.
• Carry out cleaning duties as carried out to the best of your ability.
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment.
