Job summary

Progressive, a Global Engineering and Manufacturing organisation in Wolverhampton, seeks an experienced Manufacturing Project Engineer to drive projects from fabrication through delivery on time. This site-based role sits at the heart of project delivery, coordinating multiple stakeholders

You'll lead documentation, testing plans, and progress updates with Manufacturing, Quality and Supply Chain teams, ensuring programme and customer requirements are met in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• HNC in Mechanical Engineering at minimum.
• Must be able to gain security clearance.
• Experience as Manufacturing Project Engineer or similar.
• Experience in manufacturing environment.
• Strong project coordination and planning skills.
• Experience coordinating documentation, schedules and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate engineering projects through manufacturing.
• Manage project schedules, programme updates and documentation.
• Coordinate testing, inspection and customer deliverables.
• Work closely with Manufacturing, Quality and Supply Chain teams.
• Drive actions to keep projects on track.
• Monitor risks, bottlenecks and progress.
• Support project reporting, cost control and change management.
• Act as the link between Project Management and production teams.
