Job summary

Elate Staffing Solutions Ltd is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead manufacturing operations in a fast-paced environment. You will drive production planning, performance, safety and quality while managing teams across machining, painting and assembly.

This hands-on leadership role requires a track record of improving OTIF, OEE and efficiency, with strong problem-solving, communication and commercial awareness.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading manufacturing teams.
• Strong production planning and performance management.
• Experience improving OTIF, OEE, RFT and efficiency.
• Proactive leadership and problem-solving under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production operations and deliver the production plan against customer demand.
• Manage teams across CNC machining, manufacturing, painting and assembly.
• Drive OTIF, OEE, RFT and plan adherence across the operation.
• Lead daily Tier meetings and establish a strong SIC drumbeat.
• Identify and resolve production issues, delays, defects and bottlenecks.
• Work closely with Quality and Technical teams to investigate and eliminate recurring issues.
• Drive Lean and continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
• Manage labour, materials and production costs effectively.
• Work collaboratively with Sales, Procurement, Warehouse and Logistics to maintain smooth operations.
• Oversee machinery maintenance and minimise downtime.
• Ensure high standards of health & safety, quality and operational discipline.
• Monitor and report production KPIs, identifying opportunities for improvement.
