Job summary

OLIX Computing Ltd. is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer in London to transform optical interconnect technology into scalable, manufacturable hardware. You will work with the development team to set up high-throughput processes and transfer them to manufacturing partners, supporting ramp and qualification.

The role is hands-on with travel up to 50% to partner sites, requiring strong process development, DOE execution, and robust documentation across teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in high-volume, high-technology manufacturing environments (semiconductors/electronics/display)
• Experience working in controlled/cleanroom environments
• Proven track record of designingDoEs and executing structured experiments
• Experience applying SPC, yield improvement and throughput optimization
• Ability to interpret complex experimental data, troubleshoot process issues and drive improvements
• Excellent teamwork, documentation and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Establish and qualify robust, high-throughput, high-yield manufacturing lines for optical interconnect technology
• Work with manufacturing partners to establish lines and support qualification and ramp
• Specify, commission and qualify production equipment
• Develop new and improved manufacturing processes, driving throughput and yield improvements
• Improve process capability through statistical process control
• Represent OLIX to management, engineering and production teams at partner sites
• Collaborate across R&D, Process Engineering, Equipment Engineering, Characterisation & Test and Production to hit milestones
• Contribute to strategic IP development and patents
• Ensure compliance with site and factory protocols and safety regulations
