The Plant Manager / Factory Operations Manager is working with a UK market leader in their field within the FMCG industry, manufacturing high volume products covering automated manufacturing processes. The Manufacturing Plant Manager will help transform one of their key factories from good to great, working with a highly-willing and enthusiastic team to drive improvement activities across the plant and drive the future development of the site in the Basildon area.
Highly profitable, the group has been through important structural change over the last few years; this change is now reaching its manufacturing plants in the form of changes in leadership, investment, and the goal to increase capacity across their UK supply chain.
The Manufacturing Plant Manager is a critical appointment in driving localised strategy and improvement and is seen as an opportunity to develop future leadership through succession planning.
You will be a proven Operations Manager, Factory Manager, Manufacturing Manager, or Plant Manager, with a track record of delivering improvements in culture, efficiency, and productivity. You understand what world-class looks like and have previously led a business through a similar journey, demonstrating your ability to implement improvements and overcome associated challenges. You recognize the impact of leadership on culture and of culture on processes.
