Job summary

Carlsberg Britvic Rugby site is seeking a Maintenance Technician to safeguard production equipment, utilities and site reliability. You will perform preventive and reactive maintenance, diagnose faults, and support continuous improvement while upholding quality, safety and sustainability standards.

The role requires hands-on engineering experience in manufacturing, knowledge of PLCs, SCADA, HMI, and SAP PM familiarity.

Qualifications

Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Engineering or equivalent.
HNC or equivalent preferred.
Time-served apprenticeship in mechanical, electrical, or automation engineering.

Responsibilities

Perform planned, preventive, and predictive maintenance to minimise downtime.
Diagnose faults and repair mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
Ensure adherence to HSE standards including LOTO and Permit to Work.
Lead or support shutdowns and projects with internal teams and external partners.
Apply TPM, RCA, and PDCA to drive reliability and process improvements.
Record maintenance activities and parts usage in SAP PM or similar.
Support training and SOP development to raise site engineering capability.
