Job summary

C&C Group plc is a premium drinks company with a strong portfolio of brands and a site in Glasgow. The Maintenance Engineer role supports the operations team by delivering a preventative maintenance programme focused on planned tasks across the site.

You will work with the maintenance planner to optimise weekly schedules, review asset plans, secure parts from stores, and carry out repairs while applying best practices to prevent repeat failures.

Qualifications

• Must have served a recognised apprenticeship, ideally multi-skilled with PLC fault finding knowledge.
• Preferably HNC qualified (C&G acceptable).
• Good verbal, literacy and numerical skills.
• Experience of working in a production/manufacturing role, preferably FMCG.
• Experience of working to targets within a production environment would be adventitious.

Responsibilities

• Work with maintenance planner to ensure an optimised weekly maintenance schedule.
• Review maintenance plans for individual assets with the planner.
• Highlight plant access requirements to the maintenance manager and coordinate with production.
• Identify and obtain required parts for maintenance activities from engineering stores.
• Complete maintenance interventions as requested by the maintenance manager/planner.

The Maintenance Enginner will support operations team in achieving the required performance levels through the delivery of an effective preventative maintenance programme across the site. The focus of activity in this role is on planned preventative maintenance tasks.

What you'll do

Work with maintenance planner to ensure an optimised weekly maintenance schedule.
Work with maintenance planner to review the maintenance plans for individual assets.
Highlight plant access requirements to the maintenance manager/planner and co-ordinate these with production.
Identify and obtain via engineering stores required parts for maintenance activities
Complete maintenance interventions as requested by the maintenance manager/planner.

Fault finding and repairs on plant equipment ensuring best working practices are used to eliminate repeat failures.

About you
