Job summary

Gibson Technology Limited in the United Kingdom is seeking a Manufacturing Planning & Operations Coordinator to lead planning, capacity management and cross‑functional coordination between Manufacturing, Engine Build, Inspection, Stores, Purchasing and Engineering.

The role provides real‑time visibility of production status, capacity and resource utilisation to align production plans with demand, manage material availability, and forecast future opportunities while supporting current commitments

Qualifications

• Strong engineering knowledge including drawing interpretation, materials, manufacturing processes and treatments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management; able to chase and drive actions.
• Highly organized and process-driven, focused on planning and keeping projects on track.
• Experience with production planning/ERP systems and understanding of capacity.
• HNC/HND or equivalent in Engineering, Manufacturing or Operations is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage daily/weekly production schedules balancing capacity and priorities.
• Maintain visibility of manufacturing orders from machining through inspection and stores.
• Identify bottlenecks, expedite delays and provide accurate forecasts.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing, Engine Build, Project Management, Design, Engineering, Purchasing and Stores.
• Prepare technical quotation information and support risk reporting and planning.
