Job summary

Nicholas Associates Group is seeking a Planning Coordinator for a 12 month fixed-term contract in Castle Donington. The role reports to the Operations Manager and works with the Design Department and Stock Controller to order materials against budget and BOM, ensuring alignment with the production schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience in production planning within a manufacturing environment.
• Good IT skills including Microsoft Office, Outlook and FileMaker.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the Machine Shop Manager regarding Production Planning.
• Purchase machine components and materials per BOM, ensuring cost efficiency and proper documentation.
• Build new stock forecasts and update customer forecasts.
• Monitor supplier lead-times and performance.
• Produce performance reports based on actual vs planned production.
• Progress customer orders and liaise with relevant departments.
