Job summary

MTrec Technical are recruiting a permanent Manufacturing Technician to join their team, with a background in mechanical, production or chemical manufacturing. The role involves assisting with small engineering projects on-site and supporting on-site service activities.

The successful candidate will be a strong communicator, IT literate, and a team player who is committed to Health & Safety and hands-on maintenance tasks. Monday to Friday day shift and training opportunities are included.

Qualifications

• You have a proven background within the manufacturing or engineering sector.
• You are a strong communicator with a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
• You may come from a machine operating background, with hands-on setup, stripping, cleaning and reassembly.
• You are a collaborative team player across project work.
• You are IT literate and confident using various systems.
• You are health and safety conscious with high standards in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Manage and action all activities required of the on-site service.
• Apply and change lubricants and fluids to planned maintenance schedules.
• Monitor fluids and plant equipment, reporting via our in-house system.
• Manage waste streams to safe off-site disposal.
• Liaise with customers and assist in meetings.
• Follow practices and procedures including 5S and Health & Safety.
