Job summary

The Head of Manufacturing role at My client in the Sheffield area leads a team of around 60 across manufacturing, engineering, distribution and installation, driving performance and continuous improvement.

You will recruit, train and coach the team, implement an ERP/MRP system, and develop KPIs to monitor delivery, costs and quality while fostering an innovative, customer-focused culture.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a similar Head of Manufacturing or leadership role.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems.
• Knowledge of continuous manufacturing/production processes.
• Strong data-driven mindset and KPI development.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of ~60 across manufacturing, engineering, distribution and installation.
• Recruit, train and develop staff to maximize performance.
• Lead ERP system installation to improve capability.
• Develop and monitor KPIs for delivery, cost and quality.
• Review procedures to drive efficiency and on-time delivery.
