Job summary

Quaker Houghton in the United Kingdom is seeking a Fluidcare Technician to join our manufacturing team in Newstead. You will contribute to day-to-day maintenance, deliver a high-quality service, and work with the site manager to manage the contracted scope of work.

No prior experience is essential as full training is provided. We value fast learners who can develop in a multinational setting with excellent career opportunities and a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• Full training will be provided.
• Some knowledge of working in an engineering environment is preferred.
• Forklift experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day maintenance activities in a live manufacturing environment to deliver a first-class service.
• Complete fluid analysis testing and general maintenance of products within systems.
• Weekly reporting and maintenance of EHS documentation; visual and daily checks of mechanical equipment.

Experience is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided.

Tasks

• Support the day-to-day maintenance activities working in a live manufacturing environment, to deliver a first-class service to an agreed contracted scope of work.
• Complete fluid analysis testing and general maintenance of the products housed within systems.
• Weekly reporting and the upkeep of EHS documentation on a frequent basis, visual assessment of all mechanical equipment such as the testing of MWF and ensuring the systems are checked daily etc.

Requirements

FULL TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED.

• Good Communication Skills
• Preferably has knowledge of working in an Engineering environment.
• Forklift advantageous
