Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent with strong mathematics and technical knowledge.
  • Vocational or technical training in CNC machining or engineering is advantageous.
  • Experience operating CNC machines in automotive or engineering fields is preferred, but training is provided.

Responsibilities

  • Operate advanced CNC machines to craft high-precision cylinder blocks, ensuring strict quality and adherence to specifications.
  • Promote a safe working environment by following Health & Safety guidelines and contributing to proactive solutions.
  • Collaborate with a skilled team to meet production targets and improve processes.
  • Identify areas for continuous improvement in quality, safety, and efficiency.
  • Maintain clean work area, perform routine maintenance, and ensure equipment reliability for seamless operations.
  • Meet production targets and cycle times through proficient use of manual and automated systems.
  • Follow quality control processes like Statistical Process Control (SPC) to manage quality and minimize costs.

We’re looking for a talented individual to join our Blockline Support Team in Daventry, UK for a temporary contract of up to 24 months.
