Job summary

Interaction Recruitment Group is recruiting for a Factory Operative to join our client's team, helping manufacture and assemble woodburning stoves. This hands-on role offers full training and a chance to develop practical manufacturing skills in a busy facility.

The position operates Monday to Friday with steady weekday hours, starting pay of £12.71 per hour and full training provided. You will learn and contribute across the stove assembly process.

Qualifications

• Practical, hands-on approach to work.
• Good attention to detail and pride in quality.
• Experience with small hand tools; battery-operated tools helpful.
• Previous workshop or manufacturing experience is advantageous but not required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn new skills.

Responsibilities

• Spraying stoves and components in preparation for final assembly.
• Sanding welded stoves and parts for shot-blasting readiness.
• Quality control checks before shot-blasting.
• Operating shot-blasting equipment.
• Cleaning, preparing and assembling castings and stove components.
• Assembling woodburning stoves at a dedicated workbench.
• Using hand tools and battery-operated tools to complete tasks.
• Supporting colleagues and assisting with general factory duties.

Your Working Hours

• Monday to Thursday: 07:30-17:00
• Friday: 08:00-15:00

Your Festive To-Do List - What You'll Be Doing
