Interaction Recruitment is recruiting a Factory Operative to join our client’s team to manufacture and assemble woodburning stoves. The role offers full training, consistent weekday hours and a hands-on learning environment in a manufacturing setting.

You’ll spray, sand, assemble and check components, using small tools and battery-powered equipment. The job emphasizes reliability, teamwork and pride in quality work with weekend-free schedules.

Responsibilities

• Spray stoves and components in preparation for assembly.
• Sand welded stoves and parts for finishing processes.

• Operate shot-blasting equipment for preparation.
• Clean, prepare and assemble castings and stove components.
• Assemble woodburning stoves at dedicated workbenches.
• Use hand and battery tools to complete tasks.
• Support colleagues and assist with general factory duties.

Your Working Hours

• Monday to Thursday: 07:30-17:00
• Friday: 08:00-15:00

Your Festive To-Do List - What You’ll Be Doing

• Spraying stoves and associated components in preparation for final assembly.
• Sanding welded stoves and parts ready for the shot-blasting process.
• Carrying out quality control checks before shot-blasting.
• Operating shot-blasting equipment to prepare stoves for spraying.
• Cleaning, preparing and assembling castings and stove components.
• Assembling woodburning stoves at a dedicated workbench.
• Using hand tools and battery-operated tools to complete assembly tasks.
• Supporting colleagues and assisting with general factory duties as required.
