Job summary

MTrec Limited is recruiting for a fast-paced production operative in the Gosforth area of the United Kingdom. You will operate and oversee multiple production machines, ensure safe and efficient running, and transport materials around the factory.

Responsibilities include monitoring lines, packing finished goods, performing quality checks and maintaining a clean workspace while adhering to health and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Operate and oversee multiple production machines, ensuring they run efficiently and safely throughout the production process.
• Monitor production lines, maintain a consistent workflow and report any machinery issues, breakdowns or production delays to the supervisor.
• Transporting materials around the factory.
• Pick, pack, label and prepare finished products for storage or dispatch, ensuring orders are completed accurately and efficiently.
• Carry out visual inspections and quality checks on products, packaging and finished goods to ensure they meet company standards.
• Maintain a clean, organised and tidy workstation and ensure production areas are safe.
• Undertaking general workshop labouring tasks as required.
• Follow work instructions and procedures to ensure products are manufactured, handled and packed consistently.
• Follow health and safety guidelines.

The Hours You’ll Work

• Monday – Friday
• 06:15am – 14:15pm
• 14:15pm – 22:15pm

The Pay You’ll Receive

• £12.71per hour
• Weekly Pay

• Transporting materials around the factory
• Pick, pack, label and prepare finished products for storage or dispatch, ensuring orders are completed accurately and efficiently
• General duties within a specialist workshop environment
• Carry out visual inspections and quality checks on products, packaging and finished goods to ensure they meet company standards
• Maintain a clean, organised and tidy workstation, ensuring production areas remain safe and free from hazards
• Undertaking general workshop labouring tasks as required
• Follow work instructions and procedures to ensure products are manufactured, handled and packed consistently
• Following strict health and safety guidelines
