Job summary

Manpower are currently recruiting for a Production Operative to join a busy manufacturing site in Brigg. This role offers a supportive team environment with potential progression to a permanent position after an initial period.

Shift patterns are Monday to Friday with rotating hours: 6:00am–2:00pm and 2:00pm–10:00pm. Pay rate is £13.75 per hour, with full training provided and opportunities to gain experience across departments.

Location

• Due to the site location, applicants should live locally or have reliable transport

Shift Pattern

• Monday - Friday
• Rotating shifts:
  • Week 1: 6:00am - 2:00pm
  • Week 2: 2:00pm - 10:00pm

Pay Rate £13.75 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out daily inspections at the start and end of each shift to identify and report any equipment or machine issues
• Operating machinery and supporting production processes
• Completing all production documentation accurately and efficiently
• Working both independently and as part of a team to maximise production output
• Supporting other departments when required following appropriate training
• Adhering to all site Health & Safety procedures and standards
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment

What We’re Looking For

Experience

• Previous experience working as a Production Operative, Machine Operative, or within a similar manufacturing environment
• Experience working within a warehouse or production setting
• Experience operating CNC machinery would be advantageous

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when completing documentation
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Flexible approach to supporting different departments across the site
• Good communication skills and a proactive attitude
• Comfortable working a rotating shift pattern
