Job summary

Bimeda is seeking a production operator to manage the manufacture and filling of batches in a 3-month fixed-term role at its Wales facility. The candidate will follow batch cards, schedules, and SOPs, ensuring GMP/GDP compliance and clean lines.

Essentially, you will perform line checks, verify packaging codes, and ensure correct packing and labeling prior to line exit, while maintaining strong attention to detail and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 6 months of factory experience in the pharmaceutical or similar industry.
• Good spoken and written English.
• Understanding of compliance and production principles.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize.
• Self-motivation and energy to develop the role.
• Strong interpersonal skills and stakeholder relationships.
• Ability to work in a cross-functional collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Complete full manufacture and filling of all batches as per batch card and production schedule.
• Carry out all filling, batching, packing instructions, procedures, specs and schedule.
• Ensure packaging codes correspond with relevant packing specifications.
• Complete start up line checks, ensuring print is clear and containers are clean.
• Ensure line clearance and setups are completed in line with SOPs.
• Perform in-process checks to assure batch conformity during production.
• Ensure label inserts are placed into containers before leaving the line.
• Carry out packing instructions in line with packing specs and schedule.
• Ensure packing codes correspond with relevant packing specifications.
• Complete line checks every 15-20 minutes with clear print and clean containers.
