Job summary

Hexcel is seeking a proactive Project Engineering/Manager to lead and manage the complete lifecycle of specialist projects and on-site installations at our UK manufacturing sites. You will support proposals from conception through completion, coordinating internal teams and subcontractors while ensuring adherence to safety standards and project budgets.

You will assess risks, provide regular progress updates, and plan resources to keep schedules on track.

Qualifications

• Experience leading project engineering/management in manufacturing.
• Strong communication and leadership across multi-disciplinary teams.
• Ability to manage budgets, plans and stakeholder expectations.
• Identify and mitigate engineering risks with clear mitigation strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the full project life cycle for specialist projects and installations.
• Support proposal process from conception to completion; ensure health and safety standards.
• Coordinate support and collaboration; manage subcontractors on site.
• Ensure tender specifications are within budget.
• Assure deliverables are fit for purpose and compliant with requirements.
• Provide regular updates to the Projects, Engineering and Maintenance Manager.
• Plan resources and ensure key stakeholders are engaged on time.
• Maintain high standards of conduct and compliance with regulations.
