Luton Bennett is seeking a Mechanical Technician for a manufacturing company in Cambridge. The role involves cutting and preparing pipe tubes, reading engineering drawings, and bending tubes to specified diameters. The team emphasizes training and progression within a stable, international group.

Salary is £27,430 plus 25 days holiday, bank holidays, private healthcare & dental, and a joining bonus after 6 months. Monday-Thursday days, with Friday morning shift. Excellent opportunity for growth.

Qualifications

• Engineering or technical background required.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Cut and prepare pipe tubes to 0.5mm.
• Work from engineering drawings.
• Hand bend tubes ranging from 1/8 inch to 1/2 inch diameter.
• Support the development of new starters.
• Use hand tools and measuring equipment.
