TipTopJob in Cambridge is seeking a Production Operative with a mechanical aptitude to join a reputable manufacturing company. You will be part of a friendly team of around 100 colleagues within a wider international group, with long-term job security and ongoing training and progression opportunities.

The role focuses on supporting pipe preparation, reading engineering drawings, and handling tubes and hand tools. Training is provided for candidates from any engineering background.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Any engineering/technical background is acceptable with training provided.

Responsibilities

• Support pipe preparation
• Work from engineering drawings
• Cut and prepare tubes to 0.5mm
• Hand bend tubes ranging from 1/8 diameter to A diameter
• Use hand tools and measuring equipment
• Support the development of new starters
