Scope

Akkodis is seeking a technically skilled Manufacturing Manager to join their team. This is a key role in supporting their expanding international projects in aerostructures and tooling manufacturing. You'll act as a technical linchpin embedded within their operations, providing leadership on site and hands-on support across engineering tasks when required.

Role

The Manufacturing Manager will oversee day-to-day operations on site, ensuring the smooth progression of construction and manufacturing activities. This role combines leadership responsibilities with hands-on technical involvement, particularly benefiting from a mechanical design background. The position requires strong coordination skills, problem-solving ability, and a proactive approach to maintaining project standards and timelines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day construction and manufacturing operations on site
• Ensure smooth execution of project phases and coordination between teams
• Provide hands-on technical support—especially useful with a mechanical design background
• Identify issues and offer practical engineering solutions in real time
• Ensure all work is performed to the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance
• Maintain excellent communication with internal stakeholders and client teams

Required Experience

• Technical/engineering background (preferably in mechanical or aerostructures)
• Proven site management or construction supervision experience
• Experience in aerospace or tooling environments is highly desirable

• Ability to consult on design or mechanical issues when required
• Strong leadership and coordination capabilities
