Morgan Jones Recruitment Consultants is recruiting on behalf of a well-established engineering business in Ashford, Kent, seeking an experienced Manufacturing Manager to lead production operations and drive performance across safety, quality and delivery.

You will develop high-performing teams, implement Lean initiatives, manage budgets and KPIs, and work closely with Engineering, Maintenance and Supply Chain to optimise site performance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Manufacturing, Engineering or Operations Management required.
• Significant manufacturing management experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven leadership with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
• Experience managing budgets, KPIs and operational performance.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily manufacturing operations to achieve production, quality and delivery targets.
• Manage, coach and develop production teams.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor and improve KPIs including productivity, quality, OEE and cost performance.
• Manage operational budgets and resources effectively.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance, Quality and Supply Chain teams.
• Identify opportunities to improve performance and reduce downtime.

Salary: £40,000 - £45, 000 + bonuses

Contract: Full Time, Permanent

The Opportunity

Morgan Jones is recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing specialist manufacturing business seeking an experienced Manufacturing Manager to lead production operations and support the continued success of the site.

This is a key leadership role where you will be responsible for driving operational performance, improving efficiencies and developing a culture focused on safety, quality and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily manufacturing operations to achieve production, quality and delivery targets.
