Job summary

Unknown Manufacturing is seeking a Maintenance Technician for their Swadlincote-area plant. The role focuses on hands-on electrical and mechanical repairs, preventative maintenance, and collaboration with the engineering team to keep the plant running safely and efficiently.

The position offers a Monday-Thursday 7:30–16:00 and Friday 6:00–12:00 schedule, with overtime and call-out payment potential. Permanent, with development opportunities.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in engineering or equivalent.
• Prior maintenance experience in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues.
• Conduct routine maintenance and manage parts orders.
• Support preventative maintenance for plant systems (e.g., blending plants, boilers).
• Participate in plant modifications and provide out-of-hours support on a rota.
