Job summary

Lumentum Caswell UK is seeking an experienced IT Manager (Manufacturing Operations) to lead the MES and manufacturing IT services, ensuring reliability and 24x7 production support for the Caswell site. You will direct the MES IT team and collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Automation and IT to deliver a modernization roadmap.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in MES/manufacturing IT, 5+ years leading teams, strong incident and change management, and a track record of delivering

Qualifications

• 10+ years' MES/manufacturing IT experience, ideally in high-tech manufacturing.
• 5+ years leading MES or application support teams.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, MES workflows, and integrations.
• Experience in 24x7 mission-critical manufacturing environments.
• Proven incident, change management, and stakeholder communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own MES and manufacturing IT services, ensuring reliability and performance.
• Lead and develop the MES IT team with technical direction and career growth.
• Manage major incidents, root-cause analysis, DR and continuity.
• Translate business requirements into MES/IT solutions with cross-functional partners.
• Maintain cyber and support standards; lead upgrades, migrations, and modernization.
• Develop and execute the site's MES technology roadmap and manage external resources.
