Job summary

Consulo First Ltd in Dukinfield is seeking a motivated internal sales and customer support colleague to join our manufacturing client’s team. You will handle customer enquiries, quotations, sales orders and documentation, using SAP to keep data accurate and to track orders.

The role emphasizes excellent customer service, collaboration with Sales, Manufacturing, Operations and Logistics, and building strong customer relationships while handling multiple enquiries and ensuring timely updates.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to organise and manage multiple tasks in a busy office.
• Strong communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Focus on delivering excellent customer service in a commercial environment.
• Ability to work with colleagues across departments to fulfil orders.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer enquiries by telephone and email, providing professional and efficient support.
• Prepare and process customer quotations, sales orders and associated documentation.
• Use SAP to maintain accurate customer information, process transactions and monitor orders.
• Liaise with internal departments including Sales, Manufacturing, Operations, Purchasing and Logistics.
• Communicate pricing, product availability, lead times and delivery updates to customers.
• Follow up outstanding quotations and customer enquiries where appropriate.
• Support existing customer accounts, building positive working relationships and ensuring a high standard of service.
• Assist with order amendments, customer queries, invoicing issues and general sales administration.
• Develop an understanding of the company's technical products and their applications through ongoing training.
