Job summary

Impact Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business in Northampton for a Health & Safety Officer on a permanent basis. The role provides day-to-day HSE support across factory, warehouse and office areas.

You will inspect workplaces, identify hazards, assist risk assessments, maintain documentation, and support incidents investigations while promoting safe working practices. Hours are Mon-Thu 8am-5pm, Fri 8am-1pm.

Qualifications

• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience using Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to work on shop floor and in office environments.

Responsibilities

• Monitor day-to-day compliance with HSE policies and legal requirements.
• Carry out workplace inspections and Gemba Walks across site areas.
• Identify hazards and support corrective actions.
• Assist with risk assessments and Safe Systems of Work.
• Maintain HSE documentation, records and reporting.
