Job summary

Quality Service Recruitment Limited is recruiting a Financial Controller for Malvern. This hands-on role leads the finance function within a £20m turnover manufacturing business, reporting to the Finance Director and collaborating with the management team.

You'll oversee monthly management accounts, stock costing, budgeting, payroll across UK & Ireland, and year-end audits, with a bonus potential up to 10% and benefits.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified CIMA or ACCA accountant with manufacturing experience.
• Experience managing stock valuation, standard costing and variances.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to report financial information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and reports for local and Group.
• Oversee stock costing, inventory valuation and production variances.
• Lead budgeting, standard costing and overhead absorption activities.
• Oversee payroll across the UK & Ireland and VAT reporting.
• Manage purchase ledger, supplier payments and credit control.
• Coordinate year-end audits and group reporting.
