Job summary

ACCA Careers in the Preston site is recruiting a Finance Business Partner to support the purchasing team and procurement activities. You will partner with supply chain functions to meet targets and drive improvements in process efficiency and cost.

Forecasting and reporting on purchase price variances, aligning with the global team to ensure consistency of reporting and forecast assumptions across the supply base.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent.
• Manufacturing costing experience preferred.
• Strong commercial, analytical and numeric capabilities.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• As Finance Business Partner you will support the purchasing team and procurement activities in the business.
• Partner with supply chain functions to meet performance targets and drive improvements in process efficiency and cost.
• Forecasting and reporting on the purchase price variances.
• Working with the global team to ensure consistency of reporting and forecast assumptions across the supply base.
• Continuous development of processes, controls and use of technology in order to improve efficiency and relevance of activities around material purchase pricing.
