Job summary

Michael Page International Recruitment Limited, near Wirral, seeks a commercially focused Finance Analyst to deliver detailed manufacturing cost and profitability analysis. You will support month-end processes, provide variance analysis and deliver insights to senior stakeholders to influence strategic decisions.

You will partner with Production, Supply Chain and Operations to identify efficiencies, develop KPIs and evaluate capital investments in a complex manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing/industrial finance
• Strong understanding of standard costing, variance analysis
• Commercial mindset with data-driven insights
• Advanced Excel and ERP experience

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed manufacturing performance analysis including labour, material, overhead and production costs
• Monitor product profitability and margins across lines
• Support month-end processes with variance analysis
• Analyse inventory, stock movements and working capital trends
• Develop and maintain manufacturing KPIs to support decision-making
• Partner with Production, Supply Chain and Operations to drive efficiencies
• Prepare business cases and financial evaluations for capex projects
• Deliver profitability analyses for pricing reviews and commercial decisions
