Job summary

Stirling Warrington Limited is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee facilities, maintenance and infrastructure across two sites, with one in Leicestershire and the other managed remotely with occasional visits. This hands-on role ensures safety, efficiency, compliance and ongoing operation.

You will lead the facilities team, plan maintenance, manage budgets and coordinate with Production and other departments to meet site requirements. Travel between sites is required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Facilities Manager.
• Experience in precision engineering or a highly regulated industry is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance planning, TPM and statutory compliance.
• Good practical maintenance and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing contractors, budgets and multiple projects.
• Experience using continuous improvement techniques.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day facilities and site maintenance operations.
• Lead, support and develop the Facilities Team.
• Manage planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance.
• Ensure plant, equipment and infrastructure are maintained to required standards.
• Plan and coordinate maintenance works, including obtaining quotes and communicating plans.
• Manage contractors, permits and relevant documentation.
• Work closely with Production and other departments on facilities requirements.
• Manage utilities, site services and infrastructure projects.
• Monitor contractor performance and service levels.
• Manage the facilities and maintenance budget.
• Support audits, inspections and statutory compliance.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
