Job summary

Stirling Warrington Limited seeks an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee two sites, one in Leicestershire and a second operated remotely with occasional visits. The role is hands-on, ensuring safety, compliance and full operational capability across sites.

You will lead the facilities team, plan and execute PPM, manage budgets and contractors, and drive continuous improvement while coordinating with Production and other departments. Travel between sites is required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Facilities Manager, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in precision engineering or a similar highly regulated industry would be advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance planning, TPM and statutory compliance.
• Good practical maintenance and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing contractors, budgets and multiple projects.
• Experience using continuous improvement techniques.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day facilities and site maintenance operations.
• Lead, support and develop the Facilities Team.
• Manage planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance.
• Ensure plant, equipment and infrastructure are maintained to required standards.
• Plan and coordinate maintenance works, including obtaining quotes and communicating plans.
• Manage contractors, permits and relevant documentation.
• Work closely with Production and other departments on facilities requirements.
• Manage utilities, site services and infrastructure projects.
• Monitor contractor performance and service levels.
• Manage the facilities and maintenance budget.
• Support audits, inspections and statutory compliance.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
• Travel to the another site as required (2.5 hours away)
