Job summary

Polyframe is seeking a proactive Engineering Manager for its Lenwade site. You will lead the Engineering function, drive planned and reactive maintenance, and maximise equipment reliability to support site KPIs.

Responsibilities include managing the PPM programme, engineering budgets, and a culture of continuous improvement, Lean, TPM, and safe systems of work. You will develop the team and drive cost-efficient maintenance practices.

Qualifications

• Significant engineering management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Engineering qualifications; membership of a relevant professional body preferred.
• Customer-focused with ability to lead cross-functional teams.
• Strong organisational and analytical planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement an engineering strategy for the Lenwade site that supports business objectives and a safety-first culture.
• Maintain an engineering scorecard and KPI reporting, with corrective actions for targets not met.
• Prepare and manage engineering budgets and identify cost efficiencies.
• Lead and deliver engineering projects, including large-scale capital investment programmes, on time and within budget.
• Manage external contractors and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and minimal disruption.
