Green Folk in Leicestershire is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead a high‑performing team within a complex manufacturing environment and drive operational excellence across engineering and production.

You will own CAPEX projects from concept through implementation, set engineering standards, and partner with Quality, Logistics and Finance to deliver efficiency, safety and continuous improvement.

Competenze

• Engineering degree required.
• Minimum 5 years in an Engineering Manager role within manufacturing.
• Experience with ERP, CAD/CAE, and MS Office.
• Lean/ Six Sigma qualification would be advantageous.

Are you an experienced Manufacturing Engineering Manager looking to lead a high-performing team within a complex manufacturing environment?

Our client is a leading global manufacturer seeking an Engineering Manager to drive operational excellence, lead transformational projects, and support the continued growth of a highly successful production facility. This is a senior leadership opportunity offering significant influence across engineering strategy, manufacturing performance, continuous improvement, and capital investment projects.

The Opportunity

Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, you will lead a team of engineers, providing technical direction, project leadership, and operational support to ensure manufacturing performance, quality, and efficiency targets are achieved. You'll play a key role in delivering engineering improvements, managing CAPEX projects, and supporting business objectives through innovative manufacturing solutions.

Key Responsibilities

About You

To be successful in this position, you'll ideally have:

• A degree in an Engineering discipline.
• A minimum of 5 years' experience in an Engineering Manager position within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality systems and regulatory compliance.
• Experience delivering engineering and CAPEX projects.
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working within a fast-paced production environment.
• Knowledge of ERP systems, CAD/CAE software and Microsoft Office.
• Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt, PRINCE2 or equivalent qualifications would be advantageous.
