Job summary

Advanced Electronics Limited, based at Balliol Business Park, Longbenton, is offering a Level 3 Manufacturing Engineer Apprentice role to work with experienced engineering and production teams to develop the skills, knowledge and behaviours required to become a qualified Manufacturing Engineer.

You will help improve manufacturing processes, equipment, production efficiency, quality and safety while following a structured apprenticeship programme, with the potential for a permanent position upon

Qualifications

• GCSE maths and English at 5/C or above.
• Interest in engineering and manufacturing.
• Strong communication and IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and improvement of manufacturing processes and production methods.
• Support manufacturing engineers with process optimisation projects.
• Participate in shop floor observations and process reviews to identify improvement opportunities.
• Help investigate production issues and support the implementation of corrective actions.
• Assist in the design and optimisation of production layouts and workflows.
