Qualifications

• HNC en ingénierie ou équivalent requis.
• Expérience avec Catia V5 préférable.

Responsibilities

• Développer des solutions d'outillage de la conception à la production.
• Gérer les devis d'outillage et les changements de configuration.
• Utiliser l'analyse des causes pour réduire les non-conformités.

We are seeking experienced Tooling Engineers to join our team on the Isle of Wight, based at our East Cowes site.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop tooling solutions (mould tools, fixtures, jigs, shop aids) from concept to production.
• Design tooling using Catia V5, adhering to GKN standards.
• Manage tooling quotes, configuration changes, and cost estimates.
• Ensure safety compliance and promote a safety-first culture.
• Use root cause analysis to reduce non-conformances.
• Implement Lean initiatives to improve processes.

Qualifications and Skills

• HNC in Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with CAD software, preferably Catia V5.
• Tool design experience in manufacturing.
• Supply chain issue resolution experience.

Desirable Skills

• Knowledge of ISO9000, AS9100, or D1-9000.
• Experience in aerospace industry.
• Familiarity with AS9145 APQP or similar.
• ERP system experience.
• Ability to interpret aged drawings.
• Green Belt certification.

This role requires UK National Security Vetting (UKNSV) Security clearance (SC).
