Job summary

Prime Appointments Ltd in Colchester is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to design and deliver bespoke jigs, fixtures, tooling and machinery for production. You will guide projects from concept and CAD through prototyping, testing and implementation, coordinating with production, electrical and software teams to ensure robust, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Mechanical/Manufacturing engineering experience in a production environment.
• Strong 3D CAD skills, SolidWorks preferred.
• Experience designing machinery, tooling, jigs or fixtures.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop bespoke jigs, fixtures, tooling and machinery to solve production challenges.
• Lead projects from concept and CAD through prototyping, testing and implementation.
