Jackson Hogg Ltd. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join a leading precision engineering business in Saltburn-by-the-Sea, North Yorkshire.

You will bridge Sales and Production, preparing manufacturing packs, drawings and BOMs to ensure projects are delivered on time and to spec. Responsibilities include converting sales estimates into detailed shop-floor packs, creating 2D drawings and 3D models, and verifying materials against specs while supporting offline programming and continuous

Qualifications

• Previous experience programming and operating CNC machinery.
• The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience using CAD/CAM software.
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Review new contracts and capture information from sales estimates and production plans.
• Prepare detailed manufacturing packs for the shop floor, including ballooned drawings and feature lists.
• Create and amend 2D drawings and 3D models.
• Check incoming materials against customer specifications and resolve any discrepancies.
• Identify and resolve missing or conflicting dimensional and tolerance information.
• Support offline programming activities where required.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on manufacturing efficiency and estimating accuracy.
• Act as a key link between Sales and Production departments.
