Job summary

Hunter Selection is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer in South Molton, Devon, to develop, implement, and optimise manufacturing processes in a world-class aerospace environment. You will drive Lean and CI initiatives, support production with technical expertise, and lead root-cause investigations to deliver safety, quality, and productivity gains.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
• Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, engineering, or production environment.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement tools.
• Experience with root cause analysis methodologies such as 8D or A3.
• Familiarity with Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work, Visual Management, and 6S.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Working within a highly innovative aerospace environment, you will be responsible for developing, improving, and supporting manufacturing processes to ensure the highest standards of safety, quality, delivery, and productivity are achieved.
